Answer the question. Which is more likely to result in a missed field goal?

Rushing a field goal unit on the field to barely get the snap / kick off in time, or kicking after a timeout?

Freezing a kicker really only has one risk for the kicking team, and that is getting in the kickers head.

Rushing the field goal unit to get the kick off before the clock goes out? Several things could go wrong. False start (10 second runoff - game over), Bad snap due to having to rush, kicker may be out of sorts as he didn't have time to line up as usual, and several other issues that come along with having to rush onto the field.
