Anything good? Vintage? I’m not getting much from google but there were some decent stores off i10 east and Florida Blvd during the 2008ish years.

If you're like me and prefer to look at interesting used stuff versus new stuff, Baton Rouge Music Exchange on S. Acadian Thruway usually has some cool pieces. Open Wed through Sunday.
My place, The Fret Shack, is primarily a repair/upgrade workshop and it is by appointment only. The only retail goods I offer are our in-house Carondelet Guitar and Bass Pickups (carondeletpickups.com, I am the designer and winder). And I have price tags on the custom pickup demo guitars and basses that clients use to test-drive pickups ... they often like the axes as much as the pickups and want the whole package.
If you are only in town briefly and seriously in the market for handwound pickups and/or high-end instruments, check out my web and social media pages. Pickup demos are on our YouTube channel.
If you like what you see and hear, e-mail me at info AT thefretshack DOT com and I'll see if I can get you in before you leave town.

There’s some great vintage stuff at Baton Rouge Music Exchange on Acadian between North and Government.
