So when you went in and specced your build the dealer was able to find one in the system either built, being built, or in the factory queue. If were defining order a "1 out of 1" type thing, sure, only Euro dealers essentially do this.

My car was fully loaded in the color and interior color I wanted. It was "ordered" via allocation hitting the dock in Cali (where they also do some minor installations). It took 3 months to come in.
