Randle and the bama speculation

Would randle going to bama, be as big a deal as when Jamarcus Russell came from bama to us? I wasn't a member back then so don't remember how big of a deal that was

not the same... because there was no Saban-Miles BS to go along. Im pretty sure he wasnt the top player in the state also

It would be bigger. Bama was on probation and alot of instaters were leaving alabama.

Delusional is what I think about when I hear a corn dog talking about stealing Trent Richardson.

Far bigger. For one thing, Russell was down to LSU and FSU. For another, Randle is currently the #2 recruit in the country on Rivals while Russell was a 4* QB.

Ruben Randle (Louisiana): "I used to consider Ruben a LSU lock, but I am starting to think I was sipping on too much of the Louisiana cool aid. I am starting to see signs that Ruben will look around. He is the best WR in the 09 class and I say that with a tremendous amount of confidence. Many feel he was the best player in Louisiana as a junior. He has instant impact potential. He is still considering LSU. Last year the Tigers offered 13 kids in-state and got 13 commitments, so that should give you and idea of how tough a task this is. He knows alot about LSU right now, and how they are starting to struggle on offense. But I get the impression that he has been talking to the coaches a decent amount. I would say that I have confidence right now that Tennessee and Alabama is in great shape. LSU doesn't need this guy, because they won't use him right. That being said this is a Tennessee-Alabama battle. Tennessee and Alabama is at his top with LSU close behind. Don’t get confident LSU, but watch out for this kid." Tom Lemming CBS College Sports
