you can grow them at your house very easily. but a mushroom growing kit that comes with everything but the spores.

then order spores. spores are legal to possess and sell as long as you don't inoculate them into growth medium. once you inoculate them, it is a felony, so i can't say that you should do this. the spores aren't for inoculating, they are for looking at.

Just be very, very careful picking mushrooms. The wrong ones will kill in a very painful manner.

quote:

There are some mushrooms that are super rare and extremely poisonous and there are others that are mildly toxic but responsible for the most hospital admissions from poisoning. So which is the most poisonous? Overall, there are 70-80 species of poisonous mushroom, which cause around 7428 death/per year in the US; in this article, we will look at the top 10 most commonly misidentified ones so you can steer clear. To start, heed the warning of this ominous quote:

"Only a few mushrooms will kill you; most will just make you wish you were dead."

This relates to the fact that poisoning from mushrooms doesn't kill the ingester immediately, sometimes it can be a gruesome, slow painful death...
