The plant based meat substitutes are quite good. I’ve also tried fungus based substitutes. They were “meatier” but the taste was off a bit too much.
All in all, we need protein, fat and carbohydrates in our diet. If plants can provide all three and the food is tasty and cheap, then I’m all in.

Just don’t know why we can’t do away with industrialized farming and go to herds of grazing cattle that aren’t shot up with steroids. I’d gladly pay more for that than this mystery meat
