if you are ok then thats good for you, but many people have a really hard time with such things and the last thing on their minds or ability to deal with is cooking food.

donate the extras to a local food shelter, or just ask the neighbors if they can help you by taking some of it off your hands. worst case is just start putting it in the freezer, its not like it wont come in handy later on
