That makes sense.

That didn’t really matter until Xbox 360/PS3 came out

My parents would say I could have an SNES and two games or an NES and six games.

They played me like a fiddle

You made the right choice.
Even when I got my Sega, When friends would spend the night, we'd plug up the Atari 2600 to the TV in the living room with dozens of games.

We'd challenge each other in everything from Combat to Missile Command and Basketball.
This one game could keep 12 yr old boys entertained ALL damned night even in 1987.
