I think they are. Way up there on the pop side. I mean, only 4 acts charted singles 300+ weeks for the decade - Sir Elton, the Brothers Gibb, OG Chicago and Maca. The Carpenters had the most without breaking 300 at 297, putting them at #5.

That's rarefied air right there.
