Yea, id rather win a NY6 bowl than get wrecked in the first rd of playoffs. But, on the other hand, having a shot at the natty is what ya want. And as sec champion, you have to feel pretty good about your chances.

Now last year. Looking back. I bet Michigan fans wish they had just gone to the Rose Bowl.

If we get in the playoffs, then that means we beat UGA. If we can beat UGA, then we’re not getting wrecked by Ohio State, Michigan, or TCU.

I just want to win the SEC bro. Winning it in Kelly's first year would be a major flex on the conference and country as a whole.

I can’t believe this is even a discussion. Going to the playoff is why you play the sport. Yea so you may lose the game but if you are a competitor you just want the shot.

I have to think people that would rather win a NY6 bowl (which isn’t a guarantee) than lose in a playoff game have never played competitive sports.

This means we are the SEC Champions! Will gladly take it any day.
