If it’s a really nice office with all the fancy and high tech stuff. They have big advertising and close 5 weeks a year for conferences and work trips to Vegas and Disney…. You can bet you will need some type of work done every time you get a cleaning. They will try to up sell you on tons of stuff as well. Usually these places only see about 10 patients per day compared to basic mom and pop small town dentist who squeeze in 20-30+ doing mostly routine cleanings and cavities.

Wife took the kid to a new dentist because the kids were friends in school. My kids never had a cavity. This new guy says man, looks like you have 7 cavities that need work. I told my wife, go back to the old dentist now. No cavities at all.

You can guess which dentist had the shiny office and advertising work trips to Disney and which one didn't.
