Everyone loves a great bounce, but do you think that was capitulation? I SURELY DON'T.

How long does the market run before it turns sour again?

I'm thinking of taking profits early next week and waiting again.

Thoughts?

Agree but i believe the Santa Claus rally might have some legs on it. But then again Nvadia reports next Wednesday so the wheels could fall off then.

Tax scavenging is bound to happen for everyone, that will definitely drive the market down, it's just a matter of when.

My plan is to start raising cash at around SP 4050. if it continues going up then continue selling until around 4100. What I do next will depend if the market takes out the 4125ish resistance.

I don't pretend to know what the markets are going to do, but now that the Repubs red wave became a low tide, you'd have to think a pull back is in the cards

Also, Stout posted this on the poli board... Seems like a time bomb waiting to explode

quote:

1. Most tech layoffs announced since 2001

2. $30 billion collapse of crypto exchange FTX

3. US credit card debt hits record $930 billion

4. Wells Fargo mortgage business drops 90%

5. 37% of small businesses in US unable to pay rent

Total head fake rally. What is sad is that people have high hopes for this market balance of the year and into 2023. Will retest lows soon. Debt ceiling fight coming too.

January or so, retail sales this holiday are going to be a disaster.

I'm just happy stocks aren't correlating with crypto anymore. I want that liquidity back in US markets.
