Do y'all really think Bama is going to come into Tiger Stadium and beat us down? I couldn't believe how pessimistic the prediction thread was. They are due for a loss and we have yet to get a signature win. You've got to think this one will tilt in our favor. Maybe we win close, but I have a feeling we'll win nonetheless. I know a lot of y'all are upset about Florida and Georgia, but it's time to move on. Florida is beating the hell out of everybody and Georgia was just a bad game for us, yet we still had chances to win. This Saturday will be a huge game and I'm confident we'll get the W.
Look, the bottomline is Bama isn't a strong passing team which would give us trouble and they have turnover concerns of their own. In a physical game like this, I'm going to go with our guys.

gbeezy id agree with you if we had a defense brother. i dont see us getting blown out but when your signature win is a road win against an unranked south carolina team....well thats not the sign of a damn strong football team. not to mention our quarterback likes to throw touchdowns to the other team. its time to put wheels in and let him ride

I tend to agree with you. However, I would be remiss if I were to not point out a couple of things...
They don't have to be. Our secondary has been making mediocre passing football teams look spectacular throwing the ball all year (MSU, AU, etc.)

Based soley on performance to date and without any emotional bias, yes.
That means that LSU will have to play better than they have all year. I certainly hope so.

i heard jpw looks don't his receivers like lee does. hopefully we can get a turnover or two and not give up any and i think we got this. we would have beat georgia if we would have gotten 1 turnover or if we would have given them one less imo.

"Beat us down" may have to be defined in order to answer this question. If you mean that they will totally dominate the game, my answer would be "not going to happen". But, if you mean that they will win decisively, then my answer would be "absolutely". Reason is that they are playing better football than we are. Its really that simple. They have just as good a defense, and they have just as good an offense. The difference is DISCIPLINE and PREPARATION. Bama has both, and we have demonstrated neither consistently.

But yes, Bama is going to beat us so bad that many of us will require therapy. The only questions in this game are:
1. will Bama score more than Georgia and Florida?
2. how many INT's for TD's will Lee throw?
Hopefully the finally score will be close and Lee will get the help he needs from the rest of the team and the COACHES who stop asking him to win the game with her arm and allow him to throw no more than 8-13 passes in the game. But even if the defense plays its best game of the year, and Lee plays like he did in the second half against Auburn, LSU will still get beaten easily.

JPW has been awesome in big games..He dialed up UGA and Clemson, keeping the defenses off balance
I am praying we have a total package game..we will need it to beat a well coached Bama team..Talent wise, we can play with anybody. We just can't beat ourselves..Good teams make you pay
