Thinking of including about 5 days in a trip for next year to Italy.
We did 17 days last year in Italy, but want to get in another 7 days for things we missed. Thinking of taking the ferry over to Corsica and exploring.
Seems like a step back in time from videos on line.
Has anyone made the trip?

I do not but Corsica is as high on my list as a destination can get.

French but also a ton of Italian influence. The greatest and most difficult hiking trail in Europe (GR20) which goes down the spine of the island. You can swim in the morning and ski in the afternoon and the coastline is beautiful.

Please share your planning and do a thorough review. I am so jealous and I am not sure 5 days will do it justice.

Where is the ferry from?

4 hour ferry from Livorno.
Looking to fly into Milan, Rent a campervan. Two days in Cinque Terre then down to Livorno.
Five days minimum on Corsica, maybe cross over to Sardinia for 2-3 days, then back over to Italy for the final 4 days.

Another person checking in who hasn't been, but it's pretty high on my list.

I was pretty close to booking a trip before COVID hit. I may be looking to do it in the next year or so.
