Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes and welcome to the Week 9/Game 9 thread.
We've had the early morning and now we get our first taste of the night with tonight's Monday night battle with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Saints finally seemed to put it together last week in a shutout win over the Raiders and now tonight it looks like some help might be coming back on the offensive side of things with the possible return of the Juice, Jarvis Landry. But Chris Olave will have to grow up quick if he wants to be the new WR1 for New Orleans now that Michael Thomas is on injured reserve and looks to be out for the rest of the year.
But the Ravens aren't healthy either, esp. on offense where 2 of Lamar Jackson's biggest targets will be sidelined in WR Rashod Bateman (3rd on team in rec. yards) & TE Mark Andrews (team's rec. yards leader) as both will both miss tonight's game with injuries, maybe easing the pressure off a Saints defense that will again be without its top CB in Marshon Lattimore.
Can a Saints team that's finally getting a bit healthier get into an even better rhythm and move into a tie for the NFC South lead by upending a potential AFC contender?
LET'S DOWN THE RAVENS AND GET TO THE TOP OF THE NFC SOUTH... WHERE WE ARE USED TO BEING!!!
Injury Report:
BAL-
Rashod Bateman - Foot - OUT
Mark Andrews - Shoulder/Knee - OUT
Gus Edwards - Hamstring - DOUBTFUL
Marcus Peters - Quadricep/Knee/Rest - QUESTIONABLE
Demarcus Robinson - Groin - QUESTIONABLE

NO- (WR Michael Thomas was moved to IR and will no longer be listed here)
Mark Ingram II - Knee - OUT

Weather: Monday nights in the Caesar's Superdome was just a pouring of noise on an opposing offense in the recent past. Hopefully it remains that way.
Uniforms: Keeping with the all-black for tonight's home game
Current Standings:
AFC North:
Ravens 5-3
Bengals 5-4
Browns 3-5
Steelers 2-6
NFC South:
Buccaneers 4-5
Falcons 4-5
Saints 3-5
Panthers 2-7
Betting Lines: Ravens (-1.5); O/U 46.5

yeah but the U gives me concern... Carl Paganelli
for some reason whenever I see his name it makes me cringe... like he was on a crew that made a horrendous call (or missed call) against the Saints
I feel like he was on that NOLA no-call crew for some reason but I haven't gone back to confirm
