I dont know why we get excited when we get big time recruits b/c Miles and his staff fails to utilize their talents-look at jones and tolliver(he could be like green or julio jones but we do not use them)

I somewhat agree w/ this observation ... however, perhaps Tolliver is not the super-talent he was billed to be, or perhaps we need to consider that we don't have a QB at present who can get the ball to him on a consistent basis. ??

Well UGA and Bama had shite for WRs before this season. Green and Jones are studs but they easily crack the lineup for their teams due to the returned talent on the depth chart. I can't say the same for LSU over the past several seasons. We did have guys like Bowe, Doucet, Davis, and now Byrd and Lafell.

He needs to learn how to block and he would. Right now our best blocking WR are Lafell, Byrd and C. Mitchell. We are a running team. Tolliver needs to get more aggressive. WR dont just catch, actually they rarely do all game. Its their blocking that is valuable. Now receiving wise, Tolliver is incredibly impressive. He still has time to shine and be a star.

I disagree --Throw the ball up and let him go get it -He played better as a true freshman than he has this yr b/c they actually threw it to him and played him --What about Chad Jones? I find it unacceptable that Miles and his staff fail to develop talent on this team. I do not think they are overated -Look at Keiland -In his freshman yr he started last 4 games and lasy yr and this yr he hardly plays -AND do not say b/c of fumbles-He has never fumbled in a game

the guy doesn't pick up on how to properly adjust his routes. Then again, you have no idea how a receiver is supposed to adjust a route based on the defense. You just figure a receiver has a route to run and he runs it, the QB throws him the ball and everybody is happy, right?

There is a little more to it than that. Oh, and he's only a true soph.

We called his number last night and he jumped and got a false start, we stayed with the play and he fell making his cut, and Lee threw a worm burner

you can see the potential he has. He made a nice catch coming across the middle in traffic for about 15-20 yards into Tulane territory.

To reinforce that point check out the Matt Flynn interception in last year's BCSCG. TT ran an in instead of an out . . . very costly.

The first play he was in the game and Lee threw to him he ran the wrong route. He has trouble lining up everytime he's in the game. I think Jared Mitchell should be in the game before him and Jared's a better blocker. Why do we keep Byrd and Lafell in the game if the cannot catch the ball consistently. Sit they're asses down for a series and let them know that you have to help our qb out sometimes.

We need to start recruiting kids that can catch a quick slant. We don't have a QB that can throw a home run ball.
