YOUTH EXCUSE

Jai Eugene was 5- STAR CB. Practiced as a freshman; played backup as red-shirt freshmen and is now soph. starter.Very talented out of high school but was either over-rated or coaches not able to develop players. Read article about Ala defense and how their freshmen are playing like seniors. Most of our recruits are 4&5 STAR RATED.EITHER OUR RECRUITS ARE OVER-RATED OR THE COACHING STAFF IS NOT CAPABLE OF DEVELOPING THEIR FOOTBALL SKILLS. WHAT SAY YOU RANTARDS?

It's coaching and scheming. Although I must say that Jai is not quite as good as Patrick Peterson.

Hawkins is a first year starter and for the most part he has played well. I don't buy the inexperience excuse either. Most of these guys have been in the system for three years.

The "youth" excuse expired at about game 6. They're no longer inexperienced freshmen. They've played 5 SEC games, including 2 against top 10 teams. They should be learning something.

What will be the excuse next year when our OL is extremely young? Anyone looked at what is returning next year if Ciron and Hitt bolt?

Alabama has 1 freshman starter on their defense.

Jai has actually been pretty good this year. I'd say that he's the best CB on the team right now but I'm really liking Peterson's play.

Jai has been much better than I expected. Hawkins has gotten better as the year has gone on.
Peterson had a rough night tonight IMO.

Bah, he had a bullshite PI call, that's all I remember. Meanwhile Hawkins had a blatantly obvious PI call. To be honest, the defense was fairly solid (of course Tulane constantly shooting themselves in the foot helped out tremendously).

He got picked on more than anyone in the secondary tonight. His man caught at least 3 passes I believe.

He may be 4-STAR now but he was a5-STAR and rated #1 CB when he first committed to Michigan out of Destrahan. Later committed toLSU to stay close to his kid. Now has 3.

Jai has actually been quite a surprise IMHO. He's playing really well, apart from the Green TD against Jawja. Which is not entirely his fault, sometimes you get beat, that's why you have a safety behind you. Wait, this is LSU, nevermind.

Jai Eugene came in against Kentucky last year and looked not only lost but blind and stupid. This year he is sitll making rookie mistakes. Next year will be the test.
That was with Pelini the Great!

Hitt? Really?
Why not just make your hypothetical "Anyone looked at what is returning next year if no one on our oline returns next year?"
