They still whine and bitch but it’s over reasons that you know don’t matter. Tantrums and such.
At 1 it’s exhausting because you are new and don’t know when he’s really hurt or just fussy. Later you get the hang of it. Plus they can speak so they TELL you their tears are for bullshite reasons. So you let them “work it out” and “write it down for you therapist” which were my go to smart arse comments in the midst of a tantrum.
FTR the therapist is a future imaginary therapist. My son did not see a therapist at 2-4 years old.
