Because they honored their contracts.

Larry Bird said, "if you get paid to go to work, you go to work.". Even with a broken back for 6 years. " It not only affects the team but if I don't play, it affects the vendors, the concessions guys, their jobs, if we lose attendance."

Basically players are selfish prima donnas these days.

The money has warped.
