Need a new Xbox controller

My new puppy is evidently a PlayStation fan. She chose the Xbox controller to chew to pieces last night and left the PS controller alone. Is the elite controller really worth the $150?

I've had an elite series two for about over a year with zero issues...I believe that when you have to pay for big boy toys yourself, you tend to treat them better...
The paddles on the back, are IMHO, a game changer

Are they useful for games that aren’t FPS?

LINK
GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro Wireless Controller
I've had 3 controllers in a row with stick drift so I am keen to try out this one for my next controller.
Linus did a positive review of the controller a couple of weeks ago.

Absolute must have for Rocket League.

I have had both elites and like them a lot. Just get the warranty as bumpers and sticks still arent the most sturdy. There are a ton of custom controllers now. Battle Beaver seems to be a newer more popular controller.

Coming from PC gaming where adjusting sensitivity on my mouse as well as being able to customize buttons is second nature, yes.

They're magnetic and should have come in the case to include a tool used to adjust the tension on the sticks. They slip into the slots on the back.
That is if you got the black one. For some reason Microsoft decided not to include any of that for the white one that they just released.

Mine is white and black
I didn’t see a tool or anything included. Does Microsoft sell them separately or are they going to be assholes and make me buy a controller that includes?

Ah, you got the new Series 2 one and yeah it's bullcrap they didn't include the paddles.
You'll have to get this: LINK
I bought the all-black Series 2 earlier this year before the new "core" edition came out. I can't remember how much I paid for mine but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the total cost of the core controller and accessory kit. I recall the reason why Microsoft did this was to justify lowering the price on the controller itself but still have to spend $60 for the additional pieces. I would have thought they would have included the paddles at least.

Thanks. I’ve been impressed with the controller so far. Way more intuitive than the one that came with the Xbox.
