So let me get this straight.

Right now they are, at least, working. Maybe overpaid (in the eyes of some) at 15 dollars an hour, but they are not sitting around, they are being "overpaid" to work at McDonalds.

Then because people believe that this is "paying too much" this should lead to "robots".

I ask, so what happens to the burger flippers?

The reply -

quote:

They will get on welfare like the rest of the moochers and watch daytime television while hard working Americans bust their asses to provide for them

Maybe I am missing something but I do not see how transitioning someone NOT from welfare to work but in the other direction can or should be looked upon as somehow a good thing.

And again, no more burger jobs, they WILL NOT code, not everyone can code, everyone knows that, what is the solution? Because you only seem to provide welfare as a solution - but what is an alternative that is to your satisfaction?

I would say be an adult. If making $15 an hour to flip burgers isn’t enough to get by, then learn a craft that pays more money. If you are unable or unwilling to learn, then flip your burgers.

Nobody lays awake at night concerned about me or my ability to make ends meet for my family. Nope. I have to shut the frick up, work my arse off, and figure things out

Your savior BHO though everyone could code... What has changed?

They actually acquire skills and leave an entry level job that was never supposed to support someone with a family... These jobs have never been career type jobs unless they show the skills for management...

So in your mind businesses owe it to the greater good to keep employees on and pay them more than the position is actually worth to their business?
