The Beau Philip pick was awful. Sometimes it seems they get a little cute with going for savings early.
I got the strategy and I believe everyone knew it was strictly for savings but there had to be a better option there for somebody who would sign for $700k.
The savings there did allow them to sign Grissom, Estes, Backstrom, etc. but what a terrible player Philip himself is.
