The main thing is that if it's true, I guess it would bring some heavy worries about her baby. That would be the main thing and biggest issue for me if I were in her shoes.

But for all intents and purposes, she is completely normal, functioning adult. Maybe she's just somewhat on the spectrum, and she's rolling with "autistic." Who knows.

Autism has a pretty wide range. Plenty come across as perfectly normal functioning adults. Others probably will never be able to live on their own.

And it does seem like there are potential genetic links, so that would definitely be my main concern as well.
