It would have to be. The only other possibility would be Marcus Spears, and he doesn't seem like the type to spread baseless innuendo as "fact".
It wouldn't be all that surprising if some weren't "fond" of Kelly given that just about all of the players were recruited to LSU by another staff. That's human nature that essentially every new HC has to go though. If you are winning it is not a huge deal (I'm sure the USC players aren't all that upset with Riley). But if you are losing, the old regime's players have a tendency to compare the current staff to the old one that brought them to LSU.
Les took over for Saban in an era where free transferring didn't exist. He also retained some of Saban's staff and won immediately. So there wasn't cause for a lot of dissent. Ed was on the staff already when he got the permanent job and kept much of Les's staff in tact. So again, not much cause for dissent.
Despite other coaching changes in the past, this is the first time in 20+ years the LSU program has undergone a complete revamp from top to bottom.
