I lived in Sharlo 10-11 years ago and it was mostly students. Was actually not a bad spot to live. Don't recall section 8 back then. Between sharlo and tigerland though.... rough.

Lived in the condos on s.Brightside View in the late 80s early 90s. Good times. It was like a world unto itself. There was a cop who lived back there with us and he and his cop buddies used to hit it hard with us on their down time. Great guys.
