PayPal must be struggling these days, and they've started allowing their politics to influence their decision making and policies.
With YoungRippa they used a never-before-used reserve policy that blocked his company from accessing over a million dollars. PayPal continued that "reserve" even after fulfillment of the product had started. They also would never give him a definitive answer on if or when the "reserve" would be taken off his account, it was a constantly changing target.

They held $10,400 from my account in April of 2020 for 180 days. PayPal is investing your money, hedgefundesque, but only to their benefit.
