RPO means run-pass option. The “option” isn’t between the QB himself running or passing. Typically a RPO is an option for the QB to handoff the ball to a RB or pass the ball to a WR. It shocks me how many people feel confident enough in their football knowledge to post on a message board yet they don’t understand basic RPO offense philosophy. in an RPO offense rarely does the QB run the ball himself. It’s ridiculous

Finally someone who knows what they’re talking about, people on here thinking you need a player like lamar Jackson to run RPO’s blows my mind.
