Got any Polaris RZR mechanics on here?

I've got one that was running rough when it was put up, then the guy that had it at the time put the cables on the battery backwards and didn't realize it and then it stayed like that for probably six months.
We put new spark plugs and wires on it. One or the wires was broken. It gets spark, it gets fuel, it will not start. I assumed that he'd melted down the ECM so I bought a new one, but it changed nothing. The fuel is fine. The tank and pump were changed before this started.
What am I missing here?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime up when you turn the key? Check to see it you have 12 volts at the pump

If your getting air, good fuel and a hot spark, it’s either timing or compression related. Disable the fuel pump and spray some starting fluid in the intake to see if it pops off. If it doesn’t start up, the next step is checking for a good spark and then running a compression check.

Water in fuel or jumped time would be my guess.
