How much of it is Denbrock's poor offensive scheme and how much is JD's limited execution?

a. Denbrock/Kelly specifically chose Daniels to be our QB and promised him the starting job, allegedly.

b. If Denbrock's scheme isn't working with Daniels, why hasn't he changed things up? You see us running any creative option plays? Scheming WRs open? Giving Daniels easy throws to WRs? THAT is the major concern from this year. Denbrock/Kelly have, effectively, said "this is our scheme and this is what we're running, regardless of results". That's why people keep comparing them to Miles/Cameron b/c it was the EXACT same philosophical/scheme marriage.

Daniels is regressing every game. If he looks this bad against Florida hopefully the coaches will consider a change.

Allegedly being the major fricking keyword there.

He has two options. Option 1 is to take a bunch of L's and please the fanbase with Nussmeier (2008 Jarrett Lee 2.0), or throw a young Howard to the wolves and take a bunch of L's while doing the same thing to him that LSU did to his dad and possibly wreck his qb confidence for life. And Daniels will give us some L's too, just not as much as Nussmeier or Howard will right now.

Do either of those two situation seem like the better option to you?

Nah. Kelly specifically said that their plan was to scheme around the talent that they have available, both offense and defense. If that's true, then what we're seeing is what they believe is the best we can execute with our current roster. The coaching may still be terrible, or they may be limited by the current roster. I personally don't believe the the jury is decided on Denbrock yet.
