40th anniversary of Berlin’s “Pleasure Victim”

One of the most egregiously underrated Albums of the 1980s.
Although more in line with albums by Human League and Gary Numan, it helped to bridge the gap from experimentation with synthesizers to full adaptation.
Some really well written songs too.
Terri Nunn’s voice really shines. She is so much more than “Take My Breath Away”.

Berlin had several really good songs. The early 80s New Wave/Post Punk is probably my favorite era of music.

but yep, i remember buying this brand new cassette the first time i saw 'metro' on MTV and wearing it out until the squirrels came.

Saw them live at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC back in the day. Fun, fun show.
