Robert’s Cove Germanfest - Worth checking out?

Going to be in the area this weekend. I love some good German beers and food. How’s the Germanfest out at Robert’s Cove? Worth checking out?

It’s alright. They have your typical German beer selections and some German food. I think they gave up on getting cover bands to end the night because things got too rowdy so they stick more to the traditional German folk music. Last few years were terribly hot, should be much better this weekend.

It's God's country so yeah... Those people are salt of the earth, God fearing, Germanic prairie Cajuns. Hard to go wrong. (Full discloser, I've never been.) - Edited to point out how stupid I am. Full Disclosure.

KBON music festival is also in nearby Rayne at the Frog Festival grounds with great lineup of bands if you’re looking for some live music.
