People will piss and moan on here about the time, as is their right, but as long as we don't lay an egg at Auburn I don't believe there will be a large scale sale of tickets. UT is still a big name, will be ranked in the top 10, and it may be a while before they're back in TS again.

This is why it this whole situation sucks so bad. 11am objectively sucks regardless of who you play. And on top of us having to play at 11, it’s probably the most anticipated home game this season other than Bama.

Agreed. I think the fans will still show up and I think it will be an old school LSU crowd like last year against Florida. That stadium wasn't sold out for that game but the fans who showed up were the diehard partisan Tiger fans.

I don't know how given the number of threads on the topic today about the start time, but I think you underestimate the level of bitching and complaining LSU fans express regarding ANY game that isn't a night game. The 2018 game vs Georgia was the largest amount of visiting team fans I've ever seen at an LSU home game. UGA was ranked #2 in the nation, a year after playing in the NC game, while LSU was a top 15 team (though coming off a loss to Florida).

Didn't matter

The game was at 2:30 and it was clear LSU fans weren't reluctant to sell their tickets to visiting fans. I don't know if Tennessee fans will have quite the level of demand Georgia fans did that season. But if so, expect to see a TON of orange in TS in two weeks.
