CBS gets the 1st and 3rd pick of games. ESPN gets the 2nd pick. So CBS didn't pass on this game twice. And the ESPN game they choose has to be at 11AM because contractually it can't be up against the CBS night game.

CBS got the first 2 picks that day. ESPN got 3rd pick.
