you can’t be serious. Workers hold leverage all the time throughout the world. You need workers to make money for you. You have authority, you don’t always have leverage.

Meh, not really. Everyone is replaceable. The machine will keep moving no matter how many people demand higher pay or go on strike. At best workers could cause a minor hiccup.

Just in my situation I can run this company solo. Having help is awesome and I'm willing to do that. But I started it with 0 employees and I can still run it with 0 other employees. So yeah I'm serious. Other companies probably can't do this and some can.
