Wish you hadn’t used “pure” as it takes away from your point by the haters. I’m not sure what it means anyway. What I do know, is that every time Barry Bonds stepped to the plate from 2001-2004, he was the greatest hitter who ever lived.

And he had the the greatest offensive career of anyone in baseball history when you account for his walks, stolen bases, and runs, on top of his putting bat to ball.
