People hating on Jayden either don’t know football or have an agenda
I think people are concerned that his inability to hit open WRs down field will inhibit the offense against better defenses. Their inability to acknowledge he's our best option at QB and doing everything the coaches are asking of him, is a different issue.

I am curious as to what better defenses you expect to see. Does TENN and Florida look like exceptional defenses to you? Arkansas? Ole Miss? (Tulsa scored 27 on them). Does Auburn, next week's opponent look like an exceptional defense.

My view, all of the above are average to below average defenses.

Bama yes. But ok, they are Bama under Nick Saban. Aggies look like a very good defense.

Daniels is getting better coaching than he did at ASU and has more playmakers to work with here at LSU than he had at ASU (he only had good ones his Freshman year at ASU). No offense to Herm Edwards at ASU but he was run, play action old school type offense. Not sure how much development Daniels got under Coach Herm, who I like, but Herm's offenses looked like a slightly better version than Les Miles offenses.

And lots not forget because of the COVID-19 policies in the PAC12, the development of players in that league in my view was really impacted by the lock out from training and weight room facilities from like March 2020 till what amounts to late September 2020 and then the PAC12 had minimal games that year.

The SEC does not have all these dominant defenses that people think they do. FSU and State are two of the better defenses they will face all year.
