Yeah. That would explain why I couldn't play, but I didn't receive a code at all. I purchased it, it popped up in battle.net browser and allowed me to install the beta. The full game, obviously, isn't allowed to install yet, but the beta is. I logged out, back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing. I'll shoot an email off to them today.

ETA: Blizzard say if you preorder through Battle.net, you don't need a code. Its automatically in your account, which is what it looks like. But still say unable to play yet. I did send an email so I'll see what they say.
