Another reason I just don’t understand why some people don’t evacuate. You could possibly be completely cut off from calling for help after the storm passes.

I get some people can’t afford it or have other obstacles to evacuating (lots of animals, etc). But if you have the means to do so I would think I would rather be annoyed at it not hitting and it was a waste versus scared shitless and regretting staying.

Especially these people in coastal cities that have bodies of water as part of their backyards (canals, etc).
