Sometimes this board depresses me (I know, I know, I could always choose not to read it.) But today, as we question the loss, and what went wrong and see how our student-run newspaper throws a player by name under the bus on its front page, I wanted to get back to something more important than winning and losing. (yes there is such a thing).

Gf works at an area hospital and texted me that Favorite and Pittman were at the hospital visiting kids. Said they were taking all the time in the world to hang out with everyone, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Said they were super nice.

Friends, these guys are student-athletes and representatives of the university, I'd say they're damn good ones. One thing that impresses me is the general and overall character of this team and the players that Miles brings in and the overal nature of the team. Maybe its mushy, not what you wanted to hear, and not as exciting as wins crystal balls but this is an example of the positive things we can be proud of our Tigers for.

I'm looking forward to upgrading my tickets after the season. Should be less demand.

Glad to see our guys taking some time off to help the community but you don't pay your lawnmower man to perform surgery on you. Stick to what you are good at. That is the beauty of free enterprise.
