I'm sure that many wondered what the 1st offensive play of the Georgia game would be. With the talk of the running game and Scott, I'm sure many thought it would be a running play. But no, Lee and his offense went out on the field and ran the play that the Coach or coaches called. This is all history but remember, Lee is not perfect and the Coaches aren't either but they called that play. What I can't understand is why couldn't they have put Scott & Williams in the I-formation with play action as another option. To put a young man as QB in that position in front of over 92K fans playing a top ten team is mind boggling. What play would you have called? Many other QB's around the country could have done the same thing he did. If any faculty, students, fans or Coaches should see Mr. Lee around the LSU campus, they should walk up and shake his hand and just say Go Tigers!!

i agree, def should have been a run. just to atleast warm him up a little bit. bogus call by the coaches, especially when you have a stable of horses ready to run the ball.

Sorry guys...he looked at BL the whole time and the LB saw this. It was Lee's fault plain & simple....He is the QB for LSU in College Football

Maybe this will finally teach him to look off his WR sometimes. All he had to do was look right for a split second then go to BL.

Lee has some bad habits. I honestly think if LSU had a QB coach worth his salt there would be some improvement in Lee. Nothing he does isn't fixable. Bad footwork, staring down receivers. All that is fixable. It's not the players that are questionable IMO, it's being halfway thru the season and no improvement with fixable problems. I get ticked at the results, but Lee needs a mentor. SOmeone to work with him. I think pilot of that ship has been sleeping at the wheel.

Good point. It makes me wonder if their thinking in the background may have to do with Russell Sheppard...in the near future.

Not sure. But at some point, preferably before the meat of the schedule you have to realize things are not working (everyone else in the world seems to) and stop what you are doing and work on the basics. It's not the complicated stuff that's killing LSU, it's turnovers, tackling, blocking and coverage. Things you worked on every day in Jr. High football. Pretty much why I don't really care so much about the W-L schedule this year, Just would like to see improvement. It's time to back up a bit, well past time, and work on the simple basic fundamentals. Lee deserves that IMO. He is going to be ruined.

I agree on fundamentals and basics. I also wonder though if there are some anymosities somewhere (players, coaches, staff, whatever) that we are not hearing about. Miles makes enough money, he should be more open with LSU and their fans period. Forget the press!

Lee is the future. The next three years will be bright. I for one do not want to be breaking in a freshman next year.
