For LSU to be successful, he needs to surround himself with good coahes

I have all the faith in Crowton, i think he is excellent play caller (excpet for the UF game) not so much in the Co-DC
Miles saying that he wouldn't change anything about the defense in the UGA game is very concerning

I really hope he was merely being politic and civil.

I hope that he privately feels that the defense is an abomination helmed by two incompetent dunces.

I think we all do, and we can't know until after the season. It will be interesting to see if he fires them before or after the bowl. And if he'll fire them both completely or try to demote one or both of them. I think it'd be hard to work for someone holding the job you held the year before.

I got a different message based on the quotes in the paper today...he said he may have to involve himself in the defensive side of the ball....which indicates to me, he ain't all that happy with what's going on.

I'm pretty sure we finished in the Top 10 nationally in total defense that season.

I'm equally sure that won't be the case this year.

We went 11-2 and finished ranked #5 in the country, I believe. Don't remember where the defense finished, but I'd bet it was top 10 or so.
