After being savage with firing Harsin and co, then taking another SEC AD, giving him a top 5 salary budget did I think we would be in this spot. Shame on me for thinking it was different this time

I don't hate Brohm.

Brohm facts:

Age 51

WKU record (8-5, 12-2, 10-3)

This is his 6th year at Purdue. While he has hovered around .500, he does have them 1st in the West this season. He won't win the conference, but still a nice feat for Purdue (not a great job).

Brohm was a professional QB, so that might be a draw to some extent.

Brahm was who Petrino hired as a QB coach (at more than one stop), so he learned from the great Bobby P.

Saban tried to hire Brohm as OC at Bama during his first year in 2007. Brohm turned the job down, which he later said he regrets.

I don't hate it.
