Obviously tragic, but the nature of Mickey Shunick's murder wasn't exactly commonplace. This was national news.
Allison Rice's murder points to an issue that has plagued BR for years which is violent street crime.

My definition of "safe" isn't "crime-free". That's impossible. I want crime to be controlled and minimized. That's not happening in BR right now.

Neither one of those instances are "Murdered for being white".
