I am paying 125 a month for climate control storage unit. I have a 20 x 12 shed now, built up, with no slab. I am interested in a prefab metal building with slab. I am not sure how big yet...
Advice? Horror stories? Where would I start?

I'm also in phase 1 of exactly what you describe. How far along are you with the project? Did you ever receive any helpful advice? I've been getting quotes on the slab and metal buildings. That's as far as I've gotten.

Check on how far from the property line if this is a code/zoning issue.

Permits/zoning
Nix buildings in Daingerfield Texas was the cheapest I found. They don’t do dirt work or concrete, just the building and installation. I ended up finding a 30 x 50 shop about 15 minutes from my house. It has another slab on it that I probably will get Nix to put up a building once I get the first one full. Good luck

Go bigger than you think you need.
