It sure was. To me the hardest oart about being a premium seller (especially delta neutral) is that, when the market has a roaring rally, you often lose money. That is very difficult psychologically

Fresh 52 week high today on the mothership: CBOE closed at 191.72

And no, none of my higher delta short puts got assigned. This is one that I should have just bought outright in my investment account back when it was in the high 170s/low 180s. For a longer term hold, I might still take a long stock position in this area.

Thankfully the 2/23 short call verticals that I’ve been holding on SPX have (finally!) gotten back down to a nice profit level (13.8 delta), after soaring to a 50+ delta last week. And today’s 0DTE SPX short put verticals turned to dust by about 2PM. Nice to not be stressed after a rough personal week with a death in the family.
