Did they especially enjoy getting obliterated by Trump's military?

Take a look how he kicked the shite out of Putin's Nut sack.

Let us look at Syria. Russia has long had a small naval base in Syria. Its their only base on the Med Sea so it is critical to Russia's power. Under Obama, Putin watched as he drew a 'red line' in the sand on the use of chem weapons and then did little when Syria used them. Putin correctly saw this as weakness and then built an airbase in Syria, again correctly assuming what Obama would do, well, zero. He also supplied Syria with top line radar and missile defense systems along with special forces to help Assad stay in power. Putin sent tons of bombs, missiles, ammo and more to prop up Assad.

Enter Trump. When Syria used chem weapons, Trump sent in 59 cruise missiles from a single destroyer in the Med Sea targeting Shayrat air base wiping out much of Assad's air force. And he said don't do it again or we will attack harder next time. Well, Assad waited 6-8 months and decided to test Trump and used chem weapons again. Everyone knew that Trump would attack again, the only questions were when and how hard. Putin warned not to do it and some Russian general went so far to say that if we attack again, the Russians will sink the ship that launches the attack. Media and 'experts' around the world were aghast that this could quickly escalate into a major confrontation between the world's largest nuclear powers.

So how did Trump react? He sent ~120 missiles into downtown Damascus and destroyed the chem weapons plant right in the middle of the city. Did Putin retaliate? No, not a whisper. Why would he back down so publicly?

Because the attack was launched not just from a ship in the Med Sea but from ships in the Med Sea, the Red Sea, and the Straights of Hormuz. Additionally, planes flew out of the UAE, Turkey, SA and one other base...I think.
Even better, both France and Great Brittan participated in the raids with their air forces. This told Putin...wanna sink the ships that sent the missiles?? Go ahead and try, you will be destroyed with your puny little military.

Even better, by attacking into downtown Syria, we showed that the Russian air defense systems are worthless against us. Reports stated that all missiles struck in a less than 2 minute window even though they were launched from different ships, different platforms, different countries. An amazing feat since they flew greatly different distances, at varying elevations, around obstacles like mountains and cities. What was down right funny is reports said that every missile hit before Syria could even activate its wonderful Russian defense systems and when they shot anti-air craft missiles into the air, the attack was already over.

This made Putin/Russia look really bad. It also sent a signal to Iran that relying on the Russians to defend them was a fool's errand. This massive display of power changed the dynamics so much that we easily wiped out the Caliphate with the help of Kurdish forces. One Russian/Syrian element attacked one of our FOB and we killed at least 300 Russians in that attack, sending another message. My Son and his Unit happened to be stationed at AL- Assad Air Base during this time.

When Assad was preparing to attack the last enemy strong hold in northern Syria, we warned both Assad and Putin/Russia that we will not stand by while they attack civilians and destroy another entire city like they had so many times. The massive attack never materialized.

Yep, Trump laid down the law in Syria. He has also been very tough on Putin/Russia in Ukraine and elsewhere. Anyone that says that Trump is Putin's puppet is either woefully uninformed, intentionally dishonest, or just delusional.
