I agree with you. The play calling was horrible until the 4th quarter. Denbrock sucks. He sucked at Cincinnati as well.
Im also imagining a game where Boutte doesn’t shite the bed. JD would have had 80% completion and 3-4 passing TDs.
The original argument is that he accounted for 93% of the offense, which is on the OC. We handed off 13 times. That’s play calling.

You are exactly correct. It was play calling. But they had 7 months to determine how the play calling was going to go and who we needed to get the ball to.. the QB should get the ball to the (play makers). Then tuck it after you’ve gone through at least 3 progressions. He should not be 93% of the offense. Sooner or later that’s too easy to stop.. Brice Young, who is a dual threat QB, threw for “7” touchdowns. He was 93% of his offense as well, just in a completely different way!
