and most of us realize and knew before the season started it was going to take some time and we would make a lot of mistakes.
it's done and we'll calm down. but the frustration of not trying your 1B qb, of playing an opening opponent who had a practice game for the second year in a row, the really bad special teams play, the lack of adjustments - it was hard to take because we lived in that universe for years, with a little time out for joe burrow.
Kelly will probably still do a good job, but we've got to find a qb. i really envy those teams that have an established qb and/or a coach than can get the most out of his qb (lane kiffen, for example) and always seem to have a coherent attack. unless your defense is tops and your special teams are tops, you can't make a run at a championship without a really good qb . (see Georgia last year).
I was worried about daniels the first time i heard about him and now i'm worried that we are stuck with him as the starter the rest of the year. will he look better? sure, as the oline gets better and against lesser opponents. but there aren't many of those out there.
we've got to improve really fast, and hopefully we will. I understand that we won't win every game this year - i just hope we don't have to endure the frustrations of the old bugaboos.

You think Daniels was the problem last night? This is why our fan base sucks

I thought Daniels was the only bright spot. He looked sharp on that last drive. He plays like that and lsu will upset some people.

We did find a QB1… it’s clearly Jayden Daniels. He was one of the only few players last night who didn’t quit and kept fighting

We win only 3 more games with him at QB. He sucks and is AJ and BH 2.0.
