No he was not. He got the carries because Goodwin was hurt and then he got buried on the depth chart behind Goodwin when he got healthy which is why Goodwin is in the position he is now. Kiner would've been solid depth but he wasn't a premiere SEC back. He just doesn't have the physical tools. Doesn't mean he couldn't be productive here but he didn't have speed and he doesn't have the size either. Goodwin has more of the physical tools you're looking at for a premiere back. Compact power, deceptive speed, etc. He's a homerun threat.
