1. Slavery is a murky area that is bad (although not always the worst option, and certainly isn't an American or even Western invention).

How do you reckon that? Couldn't the same thing have been accomplished with expanded indentured servitude of European people? Imagine what this country would look like and what a nice place it would be without inner cities filled with people who hate us, partially because their ancestors were brought here against their will.

Challenge one of "these people" to name the country that doesn't have slavery in its history. They must mean 'recent history', where they define 'recent'.
